FAQ
Straight answers for researchers who do their homework.
Documentation standards, testing methodology, ordering process, and research-use scope.
What is RUO (Research Use Only)?
RUO is a regulatory classification for products intended solely for laboratory research and in vitro study. Products classified as Research Use Only are NOT approved by the FDA for human consumption, medical use, veterinary use, or therapeutic application of any kind. All products in this catalog carry this classification.
Are these products safe for human use?
These products are NOT approved by the FDA for human consumption. We cannot provide guidance on human use, dosing, administration, or any non-research application of RUO products.
Who can order from Delta Peps?
All customers must complete a mandatory Research Use Only acknowledgment at checkout confirming their research intent before the order is processed.
What testing does Delta Peps perform on each batch?
Every batch is independently tested by Freedom Diagnostics — an external analytical laboratory. Testing includes:
- Purity (HPLC) — high-performance liquid chromatography with instrument data
- Identity (Mass Spectrometry) — molecular weight and fragmentation confirmation
- Endotoxin (LAL) — limulus amebocyte lysate assay for bacterial endotoxin
Purity target is 99%+ across the catalog. Each product page lists the reserved lot number, testing panel, and COA status. When batches release, a QR code on every vial will link to the Freedom Diagnostics Certificate of Analysis for that lot.
Where can I see the Certificate of Analysis?
Each product page shows the reserved lot number, testing panel (HPLC · Mass Spec · LAL Endotoxin), and COA status. Full certificates will be published to the Lab Tests library and linked via QR code on the vial when batches are released. Contact us if you need documentation status for a specific lot.
Can you provide dosing information or usage guidance?
No. These are Research Use Only products. We cannot and will not provide dosing, administration, injection, or usage guidance of any kind.
What peptides are currently in the catalog?
Current inventory includes:
- GLP-2 TZ — studied in vitro for GIP and GLP-1 receptor interaction
- GLP-3 RT — studied in vitro for glucagon, GIP, and GLP-1 receptor signaling
- Tesamorelin — investigated for GHRH receptor and growth hormone signaling pathway research
- BPC-157 / TB-500 Blend — investigated for growth factor and cellular signaling pathway research
All products: 99%+ HPLC purity target, Freedom Diagnostics testing panel, reserved lot numbers. COA documentation pending batch release.
Browse the full catalog →How should products be stored?
See the individual product page for storage requirements. Current catalog items are lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptide powders. General handling guidance: store at 2–8°C and protect from light once received. Specific storage conditions for each compound are listed on the product page.
What does the order include?
Every order includes the product and its lot number. When COA documents are published, each vial will carry a QR code linking to the Freedom Diagnostics certificate for that batch.
How fast do orders ship?
Orders process within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. Fulfillment is US-focused with tracking visibility.
What payment options are available?
Current payment options are displayed at checkout. Contact us if you have questions about payment method availability for your order.
Can I request a product not currently listed?
Use the contact page to submit a catalog request. Include the compound name and your research application. We evaluate additions based on sourcing verification and testing availability.
Why does Delta Peps require an RUO acknowledgment at checkout?
It's a standard compliance step required for all Research Use Only products. Before completing your order you'll confirm that you're purchasing for research purposes, that you understand these products are not FDA-approved for human use, and that you accept the applicable terms. It takes about ten seconds and is required by all RUO vendors operating in this space.
